Sand...another food group!

We took our first mini-vacation to Traverse City.  Although the weather was cold and snowy the beach is right outside the door so we had to take the boys for some time in the sand.  Both boys were enamored with the waves and water, but weren't as sure about the sand.  Finally Thomas realized the sand was fun and then figured he could eat it!  David was not as sure, but did enjoy playing with his brother - even when Thomas put a handful of sand in David's face.  It is so fun to enjoy the "first" moments with Thomas and David.
