Home All Day Christmas Day

We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas day! This year we were able to spend the entire day at home enjoying time with different family members.  It was the perfect way to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Mom and dad received the first gift of Christmas when the kids slept in!  David didn't get up until 7:30, Thomas at 8:30 and Jennifer at 9.  It was amazing and unheard of...especially from the kids that are normally up by 6:30am.  We hid David's eyes and let him watch TV in our bed until Thomas woke up.  We then let them both see the tree at the same time.

The stockings were ready and stuffed for our three sweet babes.  Who would have thought three years ago that we would celebrate this Christmas with three beautiful and amazing children who God blessed us with.

Before we had opened one present (besides the Rescue Heroes that were unwrapped under the tree) we started the morning off right .... celebrating the Birth of Baby Jesus.  Mommy had gotten up early and made a coffee cake so we could celebrate Jesus' birthday in style.  As we do every year we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus before we ate!

In the morning we had visits from Nama and Pa Harmelink and Driver who also enjoyed some coffee cake with us.  In the afternoon Uncle Brady came over for a visit and to spend some time playing with the kids.

Nama and Pa Harmelink and Great Grandma Gwen came over in the afternoon and we had Christmas dinner together.  It was fun to watch Great Grandma ready books to the boys.  It was a special day full of family and love. We couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

  1. SO cute how they loved the first toys but didn't really think about all the other things they could have opened.

The pictures of your family are so beautiful The tree looked great. I love the picture of David waiving at the camera, so cute. Thomas looks so handsome in his new outfit and it looks like Jennifer knows how to open her presents. ADORABLE !

There is nothing sweeter than watching your boys sing Happy BIrthday to Jesus. I love how they looked at each other before blowing out the candles :)

Such a cute picture of Great Grandma Gwen reading a book to the boys I love it !
