Butterfly Fun!

Last Friday we headed to Meijer Garden to visit the butterfly exhibit with Nama Betsy.  The boys loved looking at the butterflies and walking (err...running) through the exhibit checking out the butterflies and the water (yes, there was a lot of interest in the waterfalls and fountains throughout the gardens).  At the beginning we were handed a booklet (that after unfolded was the size of a poster) which showed all of the butterflies and their names.  Every time David saw a butterfly he would stop, wherever he was -including in the middle of the walkway, and unfold the poster and find the butterfly he had seen flying around.  This happened 10-15 times throughout our visit.  Each time we had to protect him from being stepped on.  He was sweet about showing Thomas what he had seen and where it was on the poster.  Jennifer enjoyed the trip too and loved looking at all the people and butterflies.  It was a great trip filled with fun memories - Thanks Nama Betsy!
