May flew by! I’m not
really sure where time went. It was
warm, cold and in the middle, but we found lots of time to get outside and
play. The boys love being outside. When we pull into the garage they start
announcing that they are not going in the house – they will be playing
outside. It isn’t a popular decision
when I tell them we have to go inside!
The busters continue to grow like weeds and find new things to get into
around the house. The newest fun is
squirt bottles with water in them…best dollar I’ve spent in a long time. It’s provided hours of fun. Jennifer is also growing like a weed and
finally outgrew her 0-3 month clothing in May!
It was an exciting milestone in our lives…now she won’t stop eating and
growing!! She also learned to sit up,
said “mama” first and then took a liking to saying “dada” and hasn’t said momma
again! The boys are loving on Jennifer
more each day and she enjoys watching their every move. Here’s a look back at May in pictures and
videos….
We love you, baby sister! Don't you love all our kisses and hugs??
Double the lovin'
Hey, David...that's a lot of kisses!
Mom....can you help me?
David and Thomas snuggling to keep from having to get dressed
in the morning (one of their least favorite activities).
Sweet baby sister
Tulip Time Parade
We had a cold and rainy Saturday for the Tulip Time Parade, but we certainly wouldn't miss it since daddy's band was in the parade. The boys were good sports about the weather (and I'm sure it helped that Nama and Papa Driver were there to play with them).
David and Nama
Daddy's band
Rainy and cold but the boys couldn't take their eyes off the parade.
Smiley Girl - almost all the time!
Sleeping princess
David, Guitar Player Extraordinaire!
David loves to play any instrument, but just like his daddy he can play, sing and make up words to songs - it's quite the talent.
Jennifer had a bought with croup and just like
David we had to take her to the hospital for some meds.
A girl and her Tigger!
Jennifer loves to play with the boys' cars!
Cassie Pulls David
We love to go for walks in the neighborhood and these days the boys love to ride their scooters around the neighborhood, so they've been scooting while we walk (sometimes we even walk to the ice cream store). One night David was tired to Daddy came up with a grand plan - let's let Cassie pull you! Mommy didn't think this was very safe, but David thought it was the best idea!
Thomas boy!
When I get Jennifer dressed in the morning both boys
come over and say "Mom, Jennifer is a princess."
It's the most endearing thing and makes my heart smile.
Now if only they would always be that loving towards each other!!
It was cold in the mornings, but Jennifer loves
getting in the stroller and going for a walk.
A visit to the park with nana Jan.
David on the swings.
Thomas - the thrill seeker!
Jennifer loves her Tigger and many nights pulls him on
top of her before she falls asleep.
Squirt Bottles = Hours of Fun
David squirting Thomas
David after a good soaking from Thomas.
I'm going to get you bro-bro!
Hey, these also squirt in our mouths! YUM!
Jennifer loves to hang out outside,
but watch out for the water coming
from the squirt bottles!
Jennifer has really started to babble!
Such a happy baby!
Many nights we find David with one foot on the floor -
maybe he is preparing to wake up and run for the waffles!
Thomas sleeping holding on to his headboard.
Mommy's boys!
Check out my cool party trick - I can suck on my toes!
Uncle Brady would be so proud!!
Baby sister, we love you!
Train Ride for Jennifer
(what you can't see is they are looking at their
reflection in the glass doors of the entertainment center)
Kristen and Jennifer - best buddies!
Jennifer Laughing
The boys love to make Jennifer laugh and she loves watching the silly things they do. Her laugh reminds me of the boys' laughing at Cassie. I love this sound!
