Hug

David and Thomas continue to add to the repertoire of things that the can get into as they grow, change, and figure out new ways to get into things at the house!  They have really begun to work together as a team to get into things and of course this at times causes fights and tears.  The other day I found Thomas standing on the fire truck in the kitchen (on the slippery wood floor) with David holding it still and Thomas was reaching on top of the stove trying to take off the iron grates!  It's amazing what a team they are!!  I see lots of trouble in our future...but it sure is fun to watch them work as a team, many times without saying a word to each other!


With all these changes come some precious and funny moments.  David has learned to say "Thomas" in his sweet little voice, Thomas still refers to David as "Bro Bro," and David who has always been our hugger and lover has rubbed off on Thomas and recently Thomas has wanted to hug and kiss his brother.  It's so cute to see them beginning to play with each other, reach out and hug each other and have full conversations with each other.  The other day after a scuffle I told Thomas and David to give each other a hug and from across the room they walked together and hugged.  Of course I wasn't armed with my video camera and couldn't recreate the video but here is another one where Thomas goes over and hugs his brother.
